Then Sunday my Bible Study girls hosted a Book Shower (yes, you heard it correctly) for me at La Duni! Thanks, Jenny May! See, when you're not married and don't have kids, you get to make up reasons to have a shower! I LOVED IT! I now officially have a stack of books to get me through the first few weeks in my new Swiss Chateau. Merms and I spent the afternoon with "no nonsense" -- sunning by the pool, napping, and walking around the HP Hood, waving at George Michael. Good times. More roommate bonding to come later this week. I'm not quite ready to say goodbye to my best friend and roomie of 5 years!
Eas comes to "Meet the Fockers" in less than a week, and the town of Lufkin is a-buzz! Lots of fun things planned (cow-tipping, throw stuff off the bridge--tons of stuff). I'm officially less than 3 weeks away from date of move...incredibly hard to believe. Life as I know it is about to change, and I'm soaking it all in as much as I can. Oceans 11 has been on TBS today and I've watched it twice. A happy reminder that in a few weeks, George Clooney will be closer than ever!! More soon!
